Welcome to Glamorous Pets
WHO WE ARE Inspired by care, led by the heart
Established 2002
Glamorous Pets have studied dog foods and strides to help dogs with their food allergies.
We have a temperature controlled environment where soothing music plays so your pet feels safe and relaxed. Our shop is sound proof to avoid the trauma of thunderstorms.
At Glamorous Pets we take pride in providing satisfaction to our customers in all of our services. A happy customer is very important to us. I find it gratifying to see my regular doggie clients rushing in to meet me when they arrive for their styling appointment. At Glamorous Pets our grooming and styling is much more than the ordinary (clip job), because your pet is much more than an ordinary dog. He’s your best friend, and we treat him that way.
Where compassion guides us
At Glamorous Pets, we blend expert grroming care with heartfelt support for pet families. Our services are always delivered with empathy and respect. We’re proud to be a part of your pet’s story.
Roger Borland, owner of Glamorous Pets has been involved with dogs all his life. As a child growing up I cared for many dogs. I later became involved with breeding, showing and training of the American Water Spaniel. Since then, I have shown dogs throughout Ontario and the United States and produced several champion dogs. I am a graduate of Pets Beautiful dog grooming school in London Ontario. I am certified by the American based organization called I.P.G. (International Professional Groomers Inc.) Although I groom and style all breeds, I specialize in all pet care and want to ensure you have a happy and healthy dog.
I inspect all pets carefully and check for anything your Vet. needs to be aware of. My experience as a breeder and show person enable me to understand and handle your dog better. I will groom and style your dog to your request and make them look and feel outstanding. I guarantee it. When your dog walks down the street, people will be impressed and will know it was groomed at Glamorous Pets.
Happy clients talk about their pets
We provide the absolute best grooming experience
We trust Glamorous Pets Grooming with all our pets. Roger is always patient and helpful, making every visit easy. The care and love they show is unmatched in Woodstock.
Glamorous Pets Grooming gave us peace of mind during a tough time. Their team was gentle, kind, and truly cared for our dog as if he was their own. We are so grateful for their support.
Pet Name: Ellie Long time happy customer I started using Glamorous Pet’s services over ten years ago for our lab/shepherd cross Harley. I always loved how shiny her coat looked after her visit there. Now I bring my 4 1/2-year-old havanese, Ellie every six weeks for Roger’s expert care. Even though I try to keep her coat combed, I never seem to be able to get it as tangle-free as he does — and she always smells so good and feels so soft when she leaves there!
Pet Name: Riley It is very difficult to find a groomer who can give a Bichon Frises a proper hair cut. They have a style all their own. Our boy is a bundle of energy and often grey, by the time Roger sees him. Roger does a perfect grooming not only an elegant Bichon cut, but clipped nails, clean ears and checked teeth. We had difficulty with Riley being allergic to most foods, and it was Roger who suggested a brand of dry food that has worked out beautifully for Riley, and his tender tummy. We have never been disappointed with Riley’s cut and care at Glamorous Pets. The shop is clean, excellent parking and your pet is embraced by people who care.
On behalf of Max and his owners Jeff and Deborah Hainer, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for alerting us to Max’s medical condition. We took him to our Vet on November 29th and had a biopsy done and it was a malignant tumor on his anal gland. Max had surgery on December 29th in which the Vet removed the tumor and the gland. Max came through his surgery and the Vet has confirmed that he has got all the tumor and didn’t see anything spreading in the x-ray. We can’t thank you enough for alerting us to this issue. We are so glad we have someone grooming our dog who cares.
Pet Name: Kacey I remember calling Roger 4 years ago to talk about grooming our new little girl, Kacey. She is a Sheltie-Shitzu mix. He was so curious to see what she looked like, so he asked if I bring her over for him to meet her. From that moment….. Kacey fell in love with Roger! Every grooming day we tell Kacey….”You are going to see Roger today.” She gets so excited…whines (as if to say to us….hurry up…let’s go). During the short 5 minute drive there….she whimpers and whines…..I can’t drive fast enough. As soon as we turn the corner to Roger’s place….Kacey is so excited. I don’t even put her on the leash….she jumps out of the car and runs right up to his door. It melts my heart to see the bond she has with Roger and I know she is in good hands when I leave. Roger….. Thank you for taking care of Kacey and making her look so pretty
Pet Name: Sadie Sadie is our beloved 9 year old Jack Russell, and a huge part of our family! She has been going to Roger for years now, and we are truly grateful for all the attention and care he has given her. He is always very friendly and knowledgable to answer any questions and do the little extra checks to make sure Sadie is healthy. Roger is more than a pet groomer he is someone who genuinely loves animals! I recommend Roger to anyone who loves their pet and wants the best for it. We trust our Sadie to go to Roger because she deserves the best and that’s what Roger is! Thank You Roger For Everything You Do!!!!
